Zip Flyer Overview

The Zipline in Pokhara stretches for a distance of 1.8 km beginning at Sarangkot at 1625m and ending in the plains of Hemja. The vertical difference between these two points is about 610m. It is, therefore, the world’s steepest, tallest, and longest zip line. The zip line runs in between a hill slope on the right and a plateau escarpment on the left with a river running in between. It is certainly a thrilling experience where you may zip as fast as 120 km/hr all the while enjoying the views in front of you.

The Annapurna ranges and the Mt. Machhapuchhre (6993m) are also visible on a clear day on the zip lining adventure. To begin, you make your way to Sarangkot. You will prepare for the zip lining as harnesses will be fastened around you and onto the long rope that hangs above the hills. You then zip line for two minutes straight coming to a halt at Hemja. Finally, You can wrap up this tour by visiting the restaurant here and buy souvenirs as a memento of your adventure.

      From Lakeside in Pokhara, you get on a vehicle and head to Sarangkot. Sarangkot is one of the best viewpoints around the Pokhara Valley. The viewpoint is a short drive away from Pokhara and takes you along the hilly roads for the latter stages of the drive. Upon reaching Sarangkot and the zip-lining spot, you prepare for the adventure.

      Before beginning the zip lining, the experts will make sure that you are all set for the trip. As the descent starts, you will be able to witness the glorious landscapes around Pokhara.     • Drive back from Hemja to Pokhara Lake Side |30 Mins
      From Hemja, you again drive back to Lakeside. After you arrive at Lakeside, you can enjoy multiple activities including boating, biking, or hiking.
