As this trek explores the Himalayan domain of the Everest region and takes the trekkers through unique Sherpa villages. The journey through amazing biodiversity culminates in the enchanting views of the Himalayas like Mt. Everest (8848m), Lhotse (8414m), Ama-Dablam (6856m), and Nuptse (7816m). The view of sunrise and sunset from Tengboche, the ultimate destination of the Everest View Trek, is incredibly beautiful. In addition to the stunning panoramic mountain views, Tengboche also houses the largest monastery in the Everest region, the Tengboche Monastery.

Furthermore, the Everest View Trek begins after your arrival in Kathmandu and a scenic flight to Lukla, the starting point of Mount Everest View Trek. From here, the path first descends to Phakding and then ascends steeply to Namche Bazaar alongside the Dudh Koshi River. Along the way, you also enter the Sagarmatha National Park where you might encounter various Himalayan wildlife like Himalayan Tahr, musk deer, dzo, etc.

You will spend a day in Namche Bazaar for altitude acclimatization. Namche Bazaar is a beautiful town in the Khumbu region situated amid various gigantic mountains like Kongde Ri (6187m), Thamserku (6608m), Ama-Dablam (6856m), etc. Also, you can have a nice view of Everest from Namche Bazaar from the Everest View Hotel.

On the acclimatization day, you will be able to visit a nearby monastery, stupas, etc., and explore Namche Bazaar. Most of the people residing in the Khumbu region are Sherpas.

In the same way, they provide you a wonderful opportunity to explore their unique lifestyle and cultures, which is mostly influenced by Tibetan Buddhism. From Namche Bazaar, the path goes steeply up to Tengboche.

Here, you will visit Tengboche Monastery beautifully placed amid gigantic mountains. This monastery consists of a large and colorful statue of Buddha.

The best season for this trek is October-November and March-April. During this season, the weather is dry and clear making the beautiful snow-capped mountains clearly visible.

  • We will pick you up at Tribhuvan International Airport and transfer you to a hotel in Kathmandu. This day does not involve any pre-planned trips so, you can explore the city on your own.

  • Today, we will go for sightseeing around Kathmandu valley. We will visit some pilgrimage sites like the Hindu temple of Pashupatinath and beautiful stupas like Boudhanath and Swayambhunath. We will also visit other world heritage site like Kathmandu Durbar Square. These sites are also enlisted as UNESCO world heritage sites and reflect the ancient culture and traditions. After sightseeing, there is a pre-trip meeting in hotel.

  • Today, we will enjoy a scenic flight to Lukla with a stunning view of various beautiful mountain ranges. We then trek to Phakding alongside Dudh Koshi River through beautiful valleys and forest filled with rhododendron and pines. We gradually descend to Phakding through Chheplung village and Dudh Koshi with a stunning view of Mt. Khumbila (5761m), Mt. Nupla (5885m), etc. in the background.

  • We continue our trek from Phakding alongside Dudh Koshi River through alpine forest. Crossing some suspension, we will reach Monjo, entrance gate to Sagarmatha National Park. From here, the trail goes steeply up along the banks to the confluence of Dudh Koshi and Bhotekoshi River. Continuing through waterfalls, stupas, and prayer stones, we head towards Namche Bazar. This beautiful Sherpa village that offers a stunning view of Everest (8848m), Lhotse (8414m), Thamserku (6608m), etc.

  • Today, instead of trekking, we will spend the day exploring Namche Bazaar. We will visit the local monasteries and also observe the Sherpa culture here. We can hike up to Everest View Hotel to witness the views of the Mt. Everest (8848m) and many other gorgeous mountain ranges. The villages of Khumjung and Khunde are also excellent to experience the Sherpa culture.

  • After an early morning breakfast, we will begin our trek to Tengboche. The path to Tengboche goes steeply up through small Sherpa settlements, some small stupas, and beautiful rhododendron and pine forest. Tengboche houses one of the largest monasteries in the Khumbu region, Tengboche Monastery and offers a spectacular close-up view of Everest (8848m), Lhotse (8414m), Ama-Dablam (6856m), and Nuptse (7816m).

  • Today, we will get up early to view sunrise over gorgeous mountains including the Mt. Everest (8848m). After relishing the views, we join the trail back to Monjo. We will descend through beautiful rhododendron and pine forest with the stunning mountainous view in the background. We will pass by Namche Bazaar and various other small villages and descend alongside the bank of Dudh Koshi River.

  • Today is the final day of our trek. We will retrace our path back to Lukla through the beautiful forests and stunning waterfalls. Trekking through lovely small villages like Phakding and Chheplung, we walk along the Bhote Koshi River. Along the way, we will witness some stupas decorated with prayer flags.

  • Today, we will enjoy a scenic flight back to Kathmandu. The flight will offer views of Himalayas in Everest, Langtang, and Gaurishankar Himalayan ranges as well. In Kathmandu, we can visit some of the famous destinations which are enlisted in the UNESCO world heritage sites. You can also choose to rest in the hotel after an exhausting trek.

  • Today we will spend the day visiting different places in Kathmandu valley like: Godavari, Chobhar, Sundarijal, or Budhanilkantha. We can also go hiking near Kathmandu valley. After a fun day in Kathmandu, we will enjoy delicious tradition Nepali farewell dinner (dal bhat) before parting ways. Meanwhile, do not forget to shop for gifts and souvenirs.
