Everest Heli Tour Overview

The Everest  Heli Tour is a unique experience that offers stunning aerial views of the Himalayas. Mainly the majestic Mount Everest.

The tour begins from Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal, and takes you on a scenic flight to Lukla, a small town in the Khumbu region of Nepal. Lukla is the gateway to the Everest region, and it is where most treks to the base camp starts.

From Lukla, you will board a helicopter and fly over the beautiful Dudh Koshi River and the picturesque Sherpa villages of Namche Bazaar and Tengboche.

The helicopter ride will take you through the stunning landscape of the Khumbu region, offering breathtaking views of the Himalayan range.

The helicopter will land at the Everest Base Camp, which is located at an altitude of 5,364 meters. The base camp is the starting point for most expeditions to the summit of Mount Everest.

Here, you will have the opportunity to step foot on the base camp and witness the beauty of the surrounding mountains, including Lhotse, Nuptse, and Changtse.

After spending some time at the base camp, the helicopter will take you to the nearby Kala Patthar, which is one of the best vantage points to witness the grandeur of Mount Everest.

Kala Patthar is located at an altitude of 5,545 meters, and it offers a panoramic view of the surrounding mountains, including Mount Everest, Lhotse, and Nuptse.

From Kala Patthar, you can also witness the Khumbu Glacier, which is the largest glacier in the world.

The Everest Heli Tour is an incredible experience that offers a unique perspective of the Himalayas. The tour is perfect for those who want to witness the beauty of the Himalayas but have limited time.

The helicopter ride is a luxurious and comfortable way to explore the region, as it offers a bird’s eye view of the mountains and the landscape.

One of the main advantages of the Everest Heli Tour is that it saves time. The trek to the base camp can take up to two weeks, while the helicopter tour takes just a few hours.

This means that you can witness the grandeur of Mount Everest and the Himalayas without having to take a long break from work or other commitments.

The Everest Base Camp Heli Tour is also a safer option compared to trekking to the base camp. Trekking to the base camp requires a certain level of fitness and endurance, and it can be risky for those who are not experienced, trekkers.

The helicopter ride, on the other hand, is a comfortable and safe way to explore the region.
